Arrow Continues to Invest in Its Cloud Marketplace Platform to
Empower Resellers with Top Services and Solutions
Paris, 9th December 2016 – Arrow Electronics continues to invest in and evolve its ArrowSphere online cloud marketplace, an automated platform that empowers managed service providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs) with best-of-breed tools, services, support and expertise.
ArrowSphere fulfills a unique role in the cloud services market by aggregating cloud resale solutions and MSP programs from leading global vendors into one, easy-to-use platform. MSPs and VARs can quickly quote, order, provision and bill products and services from over 50 leading cloud vendors, including Microsoft, VMWare and IBM Softlayer. They can also integrate their own unique products and services into the platform and build customized solution stacks and managed services to meet almost any end-customer need.
“There is a tremendous opportunity for MSPs and VARs to help their customers determine the right cloud strategy. Arrow’s distinctive cloud offerings provide the right tools, and the automation and aggregated resources for resellers to serve their customers as trusted advisors while making profitable margins selling hybrid cloud solutions,” said Steve Robinson, vice president of Arrow’s global cloud business.
Recent investments Arrow has made in cloud solutions include:
  • Cloud Assessment Framework: A new comprehensive assessment framework helps resellers analyze a customer’s existing application environment and create the most efficient roadmap to move applications to a private, hybrid or public cloud. It also analyzes server-usage patterns and uncovers “rogue” cloud usage or security gaps. None of the piecemeal cloud assessment tools currently in the market can provide the comprehensive analysis and insights that cloud assessment framework offers.
  • Flexible, Stackable Solutions: The ArrowSphere Stack Builder feature enables channel partners to create custom cloud solutions, including cross-vendor stacks, partner-defined managed services templates and per-seat consumption pricing. Stack Builder use cases include pre-packaged solutions for hybrid cloud workloads covering disaster recovery, storage, dev-test, cloud bursting and born-in-cloud applications.
  • Business Analytics: Customizable widget dashboards on ArrowSphere provide resellers with valuable intelligence and insights on their cloud business enabling sales analytics for cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Continuous additions of new offerings: Arrow adds new value-added cloud services to the ArrowSphere platform such as the F5 Cloud Licensing Program and the Veritas ExSP Program for traditional value-added resellers and managed service providers. ArrowSphere also offers solutions like SimplySo that provide a streamlined user interface and enhanced functionalities for Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Value-Add Services: The cloud ecosystem provides resellers with value-added services including blueprints and launch plans, access to financing and support in transforming to cloud-based annuity revenue streams.
  • ArrowSphere APIs: Arrow provides vendors and resellers with a unique set of application program interfaces (APIs) to facilitate easy access and integration with all of ArrowSphere’s key features. The APIs enable partners to extend their customer-facing cloud marketplaces and portals by securely connecting to ArrowSphere for catalog management, quoting, provisioning, billing and reporting, as well as dashboard analytics.

“The growth of cloud has dramatically changed the IT landscape. ArrowSphere is a fantastic tool for the reseller community because it aggregates all of the information, tools, services and support we need in one secure, easy-to access place,” said Wade Weppler, CEO of WWWorks. “Arrow’s cloud expertise and go-to-market playbooks, coupled with the company’s ongoing investments to its ArrowSphere marketplace, helps my team—and, in turn, our end-customers—make better business decisions and minimize the risk, costs and resources associated with migrating to the cloud.”

Arrow launched ArrowSphere in 2012. Over 1400 channel partners leverage ArrowSphere to accelerate cloud practices across North America and Europe. To learn more about ArrowSphere, please visit
